The first signal, before everyone else sees it.
Qeino exists to close the gap between the moment a delivery risk becomes knowable and the moment a human is told. The identity is that idea, drawn.
A complete circle — the engineering organisation, whole and continuous. And a single point of warm light at its rising edge — the first signal, arriving before the rest of the picture is visible.
Light always reaches a curved edge at one point first. The dot sits exactly there. The relationship is the entire mark — there is nothing to remember wrongly, and nothing to date.
The dot does not chase the circle; it precedes the day. Foresight over hindsight, expressed as geometry rather than motion.
An unbroken circle reads as a sealed boundary — the customer's perimeter. The intelligence appears on it, never outside it. Sovereignty, drawn.
Two elements in one tangent relationship. It could be arranged no other way — the quality that lets a mark survive a decade without revision.
One warm point on a field of ink. Restraint is the luxury signal. It reads as premium enterprise software, never as consumer AI.
The strategy holds three layers apart: a moat of sovereign deployment, a parity capability of delivery certainty, and a commercial instrument — the Foresight Ledger. The mark carries all three without illustrating any of them literally.
The sealed perimeter — deployment by architecture. The moat.
The earliest signal — delivery certainty before delivery slips. The story.
One figure that matters, signed and exportable — the Ledger. The proof.
Every lockup descends from the same two elements. Nothing is added; only the arrangement and the colour context change.
The mark is built on a 10×10 unit field where one unit equals the stroke. Every relationship is derived; nothing is positioned by eye.
A two-colour brand by conviction. Ink carries the system; First Light appears once per view, on the one thing that matters. Everything else is a disciplined neutral.
Semantic colours are muted to sit beneath the content, never compete with it. Error is held distinct from First Light — accent is never a status.
First Light is reserved for accents, never body text on light grounds. All running text meets AA at minimum; primary pairings reach AAA.
Newsreader brings considered, editorial calm. Inter does the precise, functional work of the interface. IBM Plex Mono carries data and provenance.
Light & Regular. Optical sizing on. Headlines, editorial statements, pull-quotes. Never below 20px.
The wordmark, all UI, body copy, labels, buttons, tables. Tight tracking on large sizes.
Labels, code, figures, the Ledger, provenance and metadata. Carries the system's engineering register.
Web alternatives where licensing requires: Newsreader → Georgia; Inter → system-ui / Helvetica Neue; IBM Plex Mono → ui-monospace. The hierarchy survives the substitution.
The visual language is generated from the mark's own geometry: arcs, tangent points, the diagonal of first contact, and a strict modular grid. No decoration that the logo cannot explain.
A single icon language: 24px grid, 1.75px stroke, 2px radius on terminals, geometric and quiet. First Light appears only to mark a single active or critical state.
24px live area in a 24px box · 1.75px stroke · round caps and joins · 2px corner radius. Optical, not mechanical, centring.
First Light appears in an icon only to mark one thing — a live signal, a critical alert, a selected item. Never decorative.
Navigation, product, feature, security and infrastructure families share one drawing logic so the set always reads as one hand.
Qeino does not illustrate with characters or metaphor. It draws systems — clean, axonometric, technical line work that explains architecture, data flow and the moment foresight intervenes.
Single-concept line drawings for talks and whitepapers. Large, calm, one idea each.
Axonometric system diagrams. Ink line on bone, slate for structure, First Light for the active node only.
Perimeter-first. The boundary is always drawn; data is shown never leaving it.
Restrained charts where the single inflection — the moment of foresight — is the only coloured mark.
Photography is documentary and architectural, never staged stock. Engineering environments, real hardware, considered portraits. One directional light source — the first light — reaching across surface and form.
Motion is reserved and intentional. The signature gesture is the first light appearing on a still circle — anticipation, not animation. Calm easing, generous timing, no bounce.
Things appear and settle. They never bounce, spin gratuitously or attract attention to the motion itself.
UI transitions 180–240ms. Brand moments 0.9–1.4s. Long enough to feel considered.
cubic-bezier(0.16, 1, 0.3, 1). Fast to begin, soft to rest. The same curve everywhere.
Black field, ring draws, light arrives, wordmark fades up. Outro: light contracts to a single point.
The product is where the brand is proven daily. Dense, legible, calm. Slate and ink carry the data; First Light marks the one signal a human needs to act on now.
Connect a source. The first light appears the moment a risk becomes knowable.
4px base · 4·8·12·16·24·32·48·64. Generous, consistent rhythm.
2 · 4 · 6 · 8 · 100. Soft, never round. Matches the icon terminals.
Low, diffuse shadows. Light mode lifts subtly; dark mode separates with 1px lines.
Dark is the product default — calm, focused. Light is full parity for docs and print.
Every page leads with deployment, carries foresight as the story, and offers the Ledger as proof. One call to action across the whole site: Run a Foresight Pilot.
Deployment-first. Architecture diagrams in the technical illustration style. The security page passes the perimeter sniff-test before a buyer asks.
A first-class page. The Ledger rendered as the product's proof surface — figures in the customer's own currency, CFO-signable, exportable.
Whitepaper, Buyer Guide, Investor Brief. Editorial serif headers, calm grids, evidence over assertion. One CTA throughout.
Decks, whitepapers, one-pagers and posts share one message and one look. Deployment leads, foresight is the story, the Ledger is the proof — the layer that leads is the only thing that changes.
The customer's engineering data never leaves the perimeter. The incumbent retrofit is a 14–24 month programme.
Editorial serif covers · generous margins · one diagram per spread.
Slim Ink band, mark left, single warm point. No imagery in the monthly investor update — proof, not theatre.
One line of serif, the mark, vast negative space. Targeted by name, never broadcast.
CFO-signed Ledger figures, named and dated. A reference is a production customer — never a logo.
Tall Ink fields, the corner-arc system, one statement. Built to read across a hall.
Heavyweight uncoated stock, one ink and one warm point. The same discipline that governs the screen governs the page.
A single master: dark title slides, bone content slides, the mark bottom-left, IBM Plex Mono slide numbers. Built once, used everywhere — investor, sales, conference and analyst decks share it.
At conferences Qeino does the opposite of everyone else: dark, quiet, and certain. One statement, one mark, one point of light — visible across the room precisely because it isn't shouting.
No gimmicks. Considered, useful, well-made things in ink and bone, marked once. The welcome pack feels like onboarding to a serious company, because it is.
In space, the brand becomes quiet wayfinding and considered surface. Ink walls, brass-warm accents, etched glass. The mark as a single point of orientation.
Named for engineering milestones, not planets. Door marks in machined brass on ink.
The corner-arc system at architectural scale. One statement per wall, never a slogan wall.
Halo-lit mark, warm point genuinely illuminated. Restraint reads as permanence.
Ink wrap, mark on the door, single point on the rear. Nothing more.
The restraint that makes the brand premium also makes it accessible. High contrast, generous type, motion that yields, and meaning that never depends on colour alone.
A single source of truth in Figma and code. Tokens map one-to-one between design and engineering, so the brand ships exactly as drawn.
Tokens ship as JSON, CSS custom properties and a Tailwind preset. Designers and engineers reference the same names; the brand cannot drift in translation.
Quiet by default. Accessible by construction. One accent, used once. Density without clutter. Motion that yields.
Versioned releases, a changelog, and a contribution path. New patterns are reviewed against this manual before they enter the library.
A brand this restrained is protected by discipline, not volume. A few clear rules, held without exception, keep every surface saying the same disciplined thing.
The brand is owned by one accountable custodian. New applications are reviewed against this manual before release. Exceptions are documented, not improvised.
Logos, tokens, templates and fonts live in one versioned source. Everything is downloaded from there; nothing is recreated by hand.
Every surface leads with deployment, carries foresight as the story, surfaces the Ledger as proof. Capability vocabulary stays in the demo.
Brand philosophy, logo usage, typography, colour, photography, icons, illustration, motion and every application — held to one standard so the identity remains relevant for the next decade.
One identity, proven across every surface a customer, an investor or an engineer will touch — from the website hero to the Foresight Ledger export to the office wall.
Qeino sells to people who detect hype instantly and distrust it on sight. The voice wins respect by saying less, more precisely — and never claiming what it cannot prove. It is the verbal half of the same restraint the logo holds.
Any writer — human or AI — should produce words that are unmistakably Qeino: intelligent, understated, sophisticated, calm, technical, executive and evidence-based.
Takes positions, not menus. Certainty comes from evidence, never from volume.
Every word chosen. The exact term over the impressive one; the specific figure over the round claim.
Restraint is the luxury signal. Let the substance speak; trust the reader to notice.
Speaks the buyer's language natively — architecture, critical path, residency, attestation.
No urgency theatre, no exclamation. The steady voice in a noisy market.
Candid about what is moat, what is parity, what is instrument. Names the limits of its own claims.
Respects the reader's time and seniority. Leads with the conclusion; never pads.
Say the thing. A clever line that obscures the meaning is a failure.
Specifics earn trust; superlatives spend it.
A figure a CFO has signed is worth more than any adjective.
State the position; respect the reader. Confidence is quiet.
Plain words for hard ideas. A complex subject is no licence for complex prose.
The point first, the polish second. If it sounds good but says little, cut it.
Earn belief by showing you have sat in the buyer's chair.
The voice is constant. Only the emphasis shifts by reader.
milestones held · days saved · recovered capacity · sovereign · on-premises · air-gapped · inside your perimeter · by architecture · read-access · residency · attestation · auditable · CFO-signed · foresight · before delivery slips · the late-knowledge gap · critical path · the first light · measured, not asserted.
Capability words — agentic, AI engine, autonomous, intervention, model — documentation and live demo only; never a hero, headline or deck title. Category terms where precise: SEIP, engineering operations, programme management. Technical terms: signal, baseline, telemetry (only to say none leaves the perimeter).
Hype — revolutionary, cutting-edge, seamless, game-changing, world-class, leverage, supercharge. Horizontal surrenders — teams of any size, general business, workflow orchestration. Surveillance framing — see what your engineers are doing. Unconditional free trial. Exclamation marks.
When space, attention or time is limited, the higher number is said first and the lower number is sacrificed last. It does not change.
Qeino is the Software Engineering Intelligence Platform for regulated, engineering-led organisations whose IP cannot leave their perimeter — foresight that anticipates the slip, deployed inside the building, measured by the Foresight Ledger.
